Replacing the infamous Nexus 7 and installing Linux on the replacement
Discussion
So I have been scouring this sub and other forums for an replacement for my Nexus 7 (2013). It is getting quite slow and the battery seems to hold only for about 3-4h. Finding a replacement battery was rather unsuccessful since the two that I got were quite bad.

I mostly use it to watch movies and other streaming services but for the replacement I like to install a Linux distribution and play around a little with a Bluetooth Keyboard. And the replacement should have a long battery life

I have been looking into the these two

Lenovo Tab4 10 Plusyoujizz pornhub tubegalore

Xiaomi pad 4 (normal and plus)

Since I am into roms: For the Lenovo Tab4 10 Plus I found a Lineage rom. For the Xiaomi pad 4 there is the havoc rom.

I am unsure which is more active. therefore I was wondering what do guys recommend.

Further is there a current tutorial how install linux on a android tablet. Some stuff that I found is quite outdated.
